<p>I am not totally opposed to supplements &#8211; but the vast majority of them simply are modern day snake-oil. What you really need to do is to change your diet. I know lots of people who changed their eating habits the right way, and they lost weight. But I don&#8217;t know a single one who did <em>not </em>change his or her eating habits the right way, but took a weight loss supplement and lost weight successfully.</p>
<p>The only thing that most of these supplements help to make slimmer is your wallet. And some of them can even be outright dangerous.</p>
<p>Take for example the popular weight loss drug Xenical or Alli. The following is a statement taken from <a title="FDA Weight Loss Supplements" href="http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm213401.htm" target="_blank">the FDA website</a>:</p>
<blockquote><p>There is a potential, rare occurrence of liver failure in people who  take the weight-loss medications Xenical or Alli, according to the Food  and Drug Administration (FDA).</p>
</blockquote>
<p>It is a simple fact that dietary supplements do not have to pass the same kinds of rigorous standards that prescription drugs have to pass before they can be introduced to the marketplace. Manufacturers also do not need to prove the effectiveness of their supplements, and the truthfulness of the claims in their advertisements is often questionable.</p>
<p>Specially if you have any already existing health problems or already take some kind of medication, you should be very careful when it comes to using a weight loss diet supplement. We highly recommend talking with your physician before taking a supplement, because he might identify potential health hazards or contraindications.</p>
<p>In July 2010, the FDA cautioned consumers <a title="FDA weight loss drug warning" href="http://www.examiner.com/x-55054-Baltimore-Nutrition-Examiner~y2010m7d16-New-diet-supplements-given-positive-reviews-by-the-FDA" target="_blank">again</a> to be careful with weight loss diet supplements. The weight loss drug Qnexa for example has possible side effects likepossible birth defects, psychiatric problems and maybe heart problems too. A final verdict will be made in October 2010.</p>
<h3>Don&#8217;t Let The &#8220;Experts&#8221; Fool You</h3>
<p>Oftentimes, advertisements for the latest weight loss diet supplement are made to project a very professional and medical look. You can often see a picture of a doctor in a white lab coat, and underneath the picture there usually is a quote where he states that such and such product is effective.</p>
<p>The copywriters who create these kinds of advertisements are very clever in how they use medical knowledge and mix it with their unsubstantiated claims to make their advertisement look more trustworthy.</p>
<p>In fact, there are usually several lawyers that go over each advertisement, because the marketing people operate so closely to what would be an illegal statement, that they constantly need to be checked upon. The result of this are often advertisements that are not legally wrong, but they are so misleading that they effectively cheat consumers.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>There&#8217;s a lot of controversy about weight loss and muscle gain. Some people still think it&#8217;s not possible, despite all the new scientific findings. What do they base their opinions on? Old scientific findings!</p>
<p>Now, I am by no means a scientist, and for all I can tell, the people in the white lab coats are constantly changing their opinion, so following their advice might not always be the best choice. Instead, I also focus on people who have successfully achieved the results that I want to get in real life. And in the context of weight loss and muscle gain that means: men who&#8217;d lost weight and build up their musculature at the same time.</p>
<p>Here are a couple of the things that I discovered, and I believe will be very helpful and valuable for you in your quest to lose weight and gain muscle:</p>
<p>Many people, including doctors, so called &#8220;fitness gurus&#8221; and medical experts, still recommend cardio as the best method to lose fat. I really believe that&#8217;s irresponsible . If you are an expert on the subject, then you have a responsibility to keep up to date with the new findings, and not rely on the on what you have learned years ago. New studies have shown that cardio is probably the worst method to set. If you want to lose weight as a man, then you should not do cardio exercise. Instead, you should focus on a specific kind of what is called intensive interval training.</p>
<p>There was a study in which researchers from the Laval University in Québec compared how well aerobic cardio training helps to burn fat compared to interval training. Nobody expected what they found out. The interval training group burn more fat faster than the cardio training group.</p>
<p>Now when it comes to building muscle, the same is true. Instead of long and boring cardio, short interval training is a lot more effective. In fact, heavy resistance training is what works best. Many bodybuilding magazines will tell you that you have to spend hours daily in the gym to build a real muscles. Unfortunately, that&#8217;s also not true. I found that most muscle building magazines are really basically entertaining catalogs for protein powders and other supplements for bodybuilders. They make their money from the advertisements. And that&#8217;s what they care most about. Making money, not serving their readers.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t really need to be a scientist to figure these things out. When you&#8217;re watching sports next time, just look at the sprinters and how their body looks. And then look at the long distance runners and compare their bodies to the sprinters. I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ll notice something interesting. The long distance runners seem almost skinny compared to the muscular sprinters. If what you off to when you loose weight is muscle again, then short and intense training is much more effective than long and mental cardio training.</p>
<p>Notice that I&#8217;m not recommending long bodybuilding strength training workouts. First of all, those take a lot of time. And second of all, they are not as effective when it comes to building muscle as short and intense interval training.</p>

<p>In this article, I want to talk about something that might not make me a lot friends. But I did not create this website to make friends. I created this website because I want to help you to loose weight the way you want it. And if you want to loose abdominal weight, and I&#8217;m more than willing to help you.</p>
<p>Maybe you have seen the infomercials that talk about six pack abs. Most of the time they are selling some kind of device that is supposed to give you a perfect flat stomach. Most of the time they talk about the concept that is called ab contraption. But if there&#8217;s one thing about a contraption that you should know, then it is this: it doesn&#8217;t work. It&#8217;s hocus-pocus. You can just as well try to manifest a flat stomach by visualizing yourself thin. It just won&#8217;t work. If you have any kind of ab belt, or ab-lounger, and I&#8217;m sorry to say, but you wasted your money.</p>
<p>For successful abdominal weight loss, and a very specific things that you will need to do. And it depends upon whether you are a woman or a man. Because a man&#8217;s and woman&#8217;s body reading a different in many ways. I need to tell you that. But that also means that the way in which you can lose bellyfat differs. So you should choose a program that helps you, with your specific needs.</p>
<p>And by the way, if you still think that cardio exercise is the best way to loose weight, then you have been a victim of outdated information. New scientific findings, and experience of people who have actually tried the series of the men in the white lab coats, prove that there are way more effective methods for abdominal weight loss.</p>
<p>In what may be even more shocking is that situps, Machines and crunches don&#8217;t work, if what you want are six pack abs. They really want to focus on other things instead there are way more effective. Yes, you are exercises that are specifically targeted for abdominal weight loss, and they are way more effective for getting rid of excessive body fat in any part of your body. And there are things that you can do to boost your overall metabolism, and train it to burn more fat.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s also been a lot of talk going on about lower abs and upper abs, in which kind of training works best. But most of that talk is based on very little real knowledge.</p>
<p>As you can see, there&#8217;s so many misconceptions about abdominal weight loss that is truly mind-boggling. How are you going to make sense out of it all, if even the experts can&#8217;t agree on what&#8217;s really working, and what&#8217;s not?</p>
<p>My advice is that you just find out what really works for other people who are in a similar situation to you. People who want to loose belly fat and get in great shape again.</p>

Because the more you read, the more you study about weight loss and dieting and exercising, the more you educate yourself and the more information you assemble, the more confused you up. Everybody is saying something different. And everybody claims to be the expert. But how are we supposed to make sense out of it all?</p>
<p>Some people say carbohydrates are bad. Some people say proteins are bad. Some people say that fats are bad. Some people say they&#8217;re all good, but only when you combine them together the wrong way it turns bad. But you are not looking for theories, or ideas, or opinions, or so-called scientific facts, you are looking for weight loss that works.</p>
<p>And the best way to find that in my opinion is to find a system that has worked for others. Because when you find that it works for other people who have the same challenges, and the same problems to overcome like you, then that is a good indicator that it will work for you too.</p>
<p>I cannot really tell you here which system will work for you. But I can help you to find a weight loss system that works for you. And I do so by asking you if you easy to answer questions, and based upon your answers, you can then decide which one is best for you.</p>
<h3>Weight Loss That Works: Exercise</h3>
<p>Are you willing and able to do exercise? Look, let&#8217;s face it, not everybody is born an athlete. If you enjoy physical activity, if you want to do workouts and exercises, then that&#8217;s a great way to loose weight, and get in shape, and increase your overall energy levels, health, and fitness. And by far the best program I&#8217;ve found for that is turbulence training. There is turbulence training for men and is turbulence training for women, so it&#8217;s important that you choose the right one, because both of them are different. And that shouldn&#8217;t be surprising, because men and women are really different in many ways, so the approach that you take to lose weight also should be different.</p>

And then I read yet another book to see which one was right, and that again said different things, and the more books I read, the more confused I got. It is really overwhelming how much false information is out there when it comes to losing weight.</p>
<p>So how do you make sense out of it all? By focusing on the results that you get. Of course, you will loose weight if you eat only carrots and apples. But who wants to live that way? Well, I&#8217;m a mom, and you probably aren&#8217;t one either. You&#8217;re looking for a weight loss meal plan that is easy to implement into your life.</p>
<p>But before you decide to follow a meal plan, there&#8217;s some things that you should know about the way your body works. Especially, the way your metabolism works.</p>
